Six Sentence Sunday #16

Welcome to another Six Sentence Sunday. As promised, a better look at Darion. :-P
Read and enjoy, then go and check out the other fabulous snippets here!

For an instant it was Solar and not Darion who stood before her, the long reddish brown hair dangling in his eyes as he stared at her. Those eyes that had bewitched her, a shade of green that she couldn’t see now, not with the light behind him and shadows in them. Broad-shouldered and heavily built, he towered over her. Was it only a few days ago that she had met him? Just days since she had befriended him, enjoyed his company, and then led him into danger, to death at the hands of the captain. Now the Eidar who had shared her mind for all those decades, her soul mate for all those years, had taken possession of the mindless wreck left behind at Solar’s destruction.

  3. "the mindless wreck left behind at Solar's destruction."

I can sense her guilt and pining for Solar. I'm wondering if Solar and Darian were brothers, or if they just have similarities that remind her of Solar?

    Great six.
