Six Sentence Sunday #11

Hello, welcome to another Six Sentence Sunday. I'm continuing with my new fantasy story, which is still unnamed. Darcy and Eoris are at an impasse; he has a blade to her chest but her weapon is aimed at a far more sensitive part of his anatomy!

"Damn," he swore softly, and she laughed, a sound like icicles falling.

"Poor Eoris," she said. "But take comfort. You are the last man standing." The point dug a little deeper as she leaned into him, her voice suddenly cold. "Now step back, or you'll be neither standing nor a man."

I hope you enjoyed those, and please follow the link to read other 6's posted by a pantheon of talented writers here.
